New Year, new aspirations: Message from the President
Dear AFAM members:
I am writing to convey my very best wishes to all of you as we start the New Year, 2017.
2016 witnessed the successful re-launch of the African Association of Miyagi (AFAM) and I would like to thank all of you for the individual roles you played especially the interim executive committee members who voluntarily worked so hard to make the re-launch possible.
I also like to congratulate the newly elected Executives Members and also remind them of the great work ahead.
I am very proud to be in the privileged position to lead AFAM as president and I invite you all to join me in anticipating what we will voluntarily accomplish in this New Year as we look forward with great enthusiasm. Together as Africans living in Tohoku region we can join hands in doing activities that will impact the region and justify our presence as well.
The discussions going on our Google communication platform on our website clearly show the intellectual capability and extensive mental faculties of our members. It is my hope that members will use the facility to share valuable intellectual ideas.
Thanks for being part of AFAM and thanks so much for helping to make the past year so memorable in terms of the official re-launch of the great association.
On behalf of AFAM Executive Members, I wish you and your family Happy New Year 2017.
