AFAM members from Sudan, Morocco, and Senegal prepared and served dishes commonly enjoyed in Africa.

In addition, Ebrima Camara, from Gambia and residing in Sendai, performed traditional Mandinka percussion music using the Solluba instrument on stage.

Visitors were captivated by the authentic live African music performance and had the opportunity to savor African cuisine they don’t often get to taste.

AFAM members, participating in a real event after a long time, also enjoyed interacting with the local community.

AFAMからは、スーダン、モロッコ、セネガル出身のメンバーを中心に、アフリカで広く食べられている料理
・Jollof Rice（ジョロフライス）
・Eggplant salad with dressings and vegetables（茄子のサラダ）
を作って提供したほか、ガンビア出身で仙台在住のEbrima Camaraさんがマンディンカ族の伝統打楽器、ソールーバのステージ演奏を行いました。

来場した皆さんは本格的なアフリカ音楽の生演奏に聞き入り、普段あまり食べる機会のないアフリカの料理を堪能していただきました。

久しぶりのリアルイベントに参加したAFAMメンバーも、まちの皆さんとの交流を楽しみました。
